This amazon original movie is the science fiction movie promised to us in the year 2021. It has all the necessary elements a science fiction movie should have. Great action sequences, scientific terminology, time travel, extinction of species, emotions and drama. The movie gives us a full-on vibe of the much loved Interstellar and you will find yourself comparing both the movies at some specific points.

The movie starts with a football match getting interrupted by a sudden magnetic force and some people come out of the portal appears warning the people of the earth about the great war which is coming ahead of them and how they should be prepared. This made all the countries cautious and they formed an army civilian force that can be sent to the future to fight the ongoing war which is fought by their children and grandchildren.

Dan Forester played by Chris pratt is drafted to be sent to the future to fight the war in 2051 but due to some anomaly in the machine, they reach a dangerous place instead of the safe one. Their mission is now changed and the whole film revolves around the survival of the human race and if they are able to win this war and save the human race?
The action sequences right from the start are just impressive and sometimes even breathtaking along with good graphics and CGI. The plotline and story sequence is heart touching where it talks about family, love and how all the things which happen to us shape us as a human being. The war scenario seems realistic but in some sequences, the fight scenes seem a bit fake. It is understandable though for a science fiction movie.
The cast also includes Sam Richardson, Betty Gilpin, Edwin Hodge and many others who gave justice to their characters. There is some heart touching scenes too which will make you emotional at some point but that feeling will not last because too much action is instilled in the movie. The last 20 minutes seem a bit extra to be honest but the sequences are decent so you will not complain about it much.
Overall it is a decent one time flick because of the action sequences and a decent plot which will excite you and make you part of the journey where you want to, rather than have to win this war. It is streaming in Amazon prime right now and is a perfect weekend watch so go watch it now and let us know, what you liked about it.
